Takedowns & DMCA

What this site holds

HornyReel does not host images or video. For each item we store a link to the file on the originating site’s own servers, the prompt that site’s author chose to publish, a set of descriptive tags, and a link back to the original page. Your browser loads the media directly from the source. We keep no copy, and deleting the file at the source removes it from this site as well.

The fastest route

Because we store links rather than files, the quickest way to remove anything is to remove or restrict it at the site that generated it. It disappears here as soon as that happens, and our weekly link check marks it dead regardless.

Asking us directly

If that is not practical, write to [email protected] and we will act on it. Please include:

  • the URL on this site, or the source URL, of each item;
  • what your claim is — copyright, likeness, or something else;
  • enough for us to see the connection between you and the material;
  • a way to reach you.

A formal DMCA notice is welcome but not required; a plain description of the problem is enough for us to act. We do not require a rights-holder to prove ownership before we remove something on request.

Whole-source removal

If you operate a site we index and would rather we did not, say so and we will remove all of it. This is one database change on our side, it takes effect within ten minutes, and it covers everything from that source — the gallery, the recommendations and the search index at once. We will not ask you to justify the request or send a list of URLs.

Author flags

Where a source lets an author hide their prompt or mark a post private, we respect that flag and never route around it. If a post is not publicly visible on the source site, it is not here.

Counter-notice

If we remove something and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address and we will look again. Given that removal costs us a row in a table, we would rather be quick and occasionally wrong than slow and careful about someone else’s work.
